Chopin! Next on March 1, 2010 at noon.

The quintessential poet of the piano comes alive at Sundin Music Hall.  30 minutes with Chopin, performed by the international performers from the Hamline International Piano Institute and members of the Hamline University Music Faculty.  Free and dessert afterward!

 

Yun Ji Kim 

March 1, 2010 at noon: 

Pianist Yun Ji Kim, new this year to the Hamline International Piano Institute, will perform Chopin's Piano Sonata No. 2 in B flat Minor, Op. 35 on this special edition of the Chopin series at Sundin Music Hall.  March 1 marks the official 200th anniversary of Chopin's birth.  This sonata is the one that contains the well-known Funeral March.
