Using the LiveText System
For Students:
- Create and share knowledge in collaborative learning groups
- Submit multiple drafts of assignments and review feedback from peers and instructors (with all drafts, evaluations, and assessments permanently archived for the student, instructor, and program)
- Track and reflect on progress toward particular learning outcomes over time, and archive work that demonstrates that progress, including audio and video files
- Create e-portfolios and share them with professors, co-curricular leaders, advisors, classmates, and employers
- Upload and manage files in a secure Personal File Manager with unlimited storage capacity and web access

Student Support
For Faculty:
- Assess student work using a variety of scoring types, such as analytic or holistic rubrics, percentages, or scoring guides
- Use rubrics or scoring guides aligned with program learning outcomes and other standards
- Communicate feedback in ways that facilitate an individual student's ability to track, reflect upon, and plan for progress toward program learning outcomes and other standards
- Aggregate assessments of student performance relative to particular outcomes or standards across a course, co-curricular learning experience, program, or school, and use LiveText's reporting functions to analyze that data
- Access a permanent archive of all student work submitted through LiveText and all accompanying evaluations and assessments
- Upload and manage files in a secure Personal File Manager with unlimited storage capacity and web access
- Develop personal portfolios for professional development and review
