Hamline Student Identification Cards (ID Cards) are required for all students. ID Cards may be obtained at the Office of Safety and Security (Identification Center), on the first floor of Drew Residence Hall (not Drew Science).
Your Hamline ID Card contains the following information:

- Name
- Classification: Your primary university classification (Student).
- Hamline ID#: You will use this number for login into Piperline.
- Issued: Date when your ID Card was issued.
- Your Picture: Your digitized photo image is printed here on the card.

- Library Code: You will need this number when using library services.
- Hamline Code
- Magnetic Stripe: When swiped, the information on the magnetic stripe links to your Hamline records. For example, you can swipe your ID card in the card readers on copiers/printers on campus to use them.
