Netmail

Using your Netmail account for the first time

Welcome to Hamline University!

We are pleased to be able to provide you with email service throughout your time here. Email will play a significant part in your educational experience here at Hamline, as many official university notices, assignments and course materials are sent out via email to your University email address. In order for you to get the most from this service, you will be responsible for checking your email address regularly.

The first step to managing your Hamline email account is to look up your login information. Your login information is provided online at Piperline. Go to "Personal Information", then "View Hamline computer accounts". If you need your Piperline UserID and/or PIN, you can contact your Registrar's office.

It is important to remember that when giving your Hamline email address out, it should always be sent to username@hamline.edu. For example, your email address might be jharding05@netmail.hamline.edu, but you should always have mail sent to jharding05@hamline.edu in order for the mail to be sent to the preferred account. This is the only way to make sure that you receive all of your emails.

At the close of your time here, you will be able to keep your Netmail account for 1 month (30 days) after graduation.
