Navigating the course website
You can access various parts of the course web site by single-clicking on the navigation buttons, folders, titles, links, or tools buttons. There are two types of navigation:
Between content areas: To navigate between content areas, click on the hyperlink on the Navigation Buttons, or use the Course Map. Clicking on the button displays an outline view of the course (see Figure 4). The Course Map can be expanded to display individual items under each of the areas. Select a folder or item to have its contents display in the Content Frame.

Within content areas: To navigate within content areas, click on the hyperlinks and buttons within the Content Frame. (See Figure 5.)

Note different navigation options and elements on the previous screen:
Navigation Path
The Navigation Path links appears at the top of each page within a course. Clicking on a tile takes you to that area of the course.
NOTE: Due to the dynamic nature of many of the pages within the course, it is strongly recommended that you use the internal navigation links instead of the Internet browser’s Back and Forward buttons.
Folder: Click on the link (title of the folder) to access/view the folder’s content.
Item: An item can include text, links to the Internet, or file attachments.
External Link: Click on the link to access materials outside the course web site.
Course Link: Click on the link to access materials within the course web site.
Assignment: Click on the link to complete assignments online or review grade and the instructor’s feedback.
Test: Click on the link to take the test.
