The first time you log into Blackboard, you will be using a password that the system administrator set up for you. You can use that passowrk to login but we encourage you to change it to protect your privacy.
If you do not remember you password, you should contact Software Support Services (by phone 651.523.2782 or by email) to reset your password.
In both cases we encourage you change your password to protect your privacy.
Follow these steps to change it : (video tutorial available here)
- Log into Blackboard
- Go to the My Institution page
- Click on Personal Information.
- Click on Change Password.
- Enter your new password twice (Password and Verify Password).
- Click on the button. (A new page with the message “User updated. Password successfully updated” is displayed.)
- Click on the button to return to the Personal Information page.
- Click on the button to go back to the My Institution page.
Please record your username and new password here for future use.
