Student Account Information
Important change in student e-mail policy
Hamline provides a Netmail e-mail account for degree and licensure-seeking*, and beginning this academic year, all degree and licensure-seeking will be required to use this official account for Hamline-related correspondence. Official Hamline communications will no longer be sent to personal or alternate e-mail addresses.
You are responsible for any message sent to you at your Netmail account. Make it a habit to check the account often and maintain your inbox. Many official university notices will be sent only via e-mail, and students may also be required to submit assignments and/or receive course material via e-mail.
You may access Netmail at www.hamline.edu/netmail/ from any Internet browser. If you do not know your Netmail login and password, you can look up your login information in Piperline. Go to www.hamline.edu and choose "Logins." Choose Piperline and log in (if you need your Piperline User ID and/or PIN, contact Student Administrative Services at 651-523-3000 or Law Grad 113E.) Then, choose "Personal Information," then "View Hamline computer accounts." This page will display your username and your initial password, and provide access to change your password. For further assistance with Netmail, e-mail the HelpDesk or call 651-523-2220
* In some cases, the distinctions between "degree and licensure-seeking" and other student types are blurred or student status changes. If you do not know if you have a Netmail account, please contact the HelpDesk at 651-523-2220.
