| As an officially recognized Hamline University Student Organization you have all of the rights and responsibilities that go along with that recognition. These include keeping the Office of Student Activities updated on student contact information and organization activities, following all policies (including the alcohol policy, Cultural Diversity policy, Hazing Policy, Posting Policy, Van Rental Policy, Student Event Policy) |
| As a registered student organization, you may:
· Use University facilities according to established policies for student groups.
· Publicize in Hamline publications and on Hamline bulletin boards.
· Establish a Hamline account for charging services and physical plant bills. Each group is responsible for any financial obligations incurred by any of its members in the name of the organization.
· Use the name “Hamline” in your organization title. |
| To become a “chartered” organization through HUSC, you must go through the chartering process that has been established by HUSC. As a chartered organization, you have the additional ability to apply for a budget allocation and office space.
