Exploration of Religious Vocation: Internship Positions
Student interns are expected to work 10 hours a week and will be placed in a local internship site. They will attend montly reflection group meetings with RSLO staff, maintain a journal, and submit monthly written reports. The stipend positions pay $1,500 a year or $750 per semester and will be paid at mid semester and at the end of the semester. You may be asked to keep a time card, but will not be paid by the hour. Student internship sites include but are not limited to local church, congregational, and synagogue settings as well as community service agencies. LEAD option is also possible. Interested students should begin to identify potential internshop sites as soon as possible. Assistance is available from the Religious and Spiritual Life Office. Positions report to RSLO, Administrative Assistant, or Associate Chaplain.
