Dear Hamline Student:

Welcome to Hamline University! You have joined an exceptional university known for its personal attention to students and extraordinary experiences both in the classroom and through campus activities. As you explore the many choices for involvement at Hamline, you will find that our faculty and staff are excellent resources to help you discover new and interesting ways to experience college life.

The Hamline Undergraduate Student Congress (HUSC) and the Dean of Students’ Office have prepared this 2005-06 Daily Planner to guide you through the policies and procedures for having a successful student experience at Hamline University.

On behalf of the faculty, staff and returning students of Hamline, I hope this year provides you with new opportunities, challenges, and growth. As you find your way, make new friends and start your classes, please call upon any of our staff to assist you. You are the reason we are here and we warmly welcome you!

In addition, the Office of the Dean of Students serves as a resource for student questions and concerns. This office serves as an advocate for students and will be your primary way to serve your needs.
