As a participant upon acceptance, you agree to the following:

  • Participation in all mandatory pre-trip work of readings, discussions, group meetings and events.  Tuesday, Feb 3, 2010;
  • Attendance at orientation dinner, date to be announced;
  • Learn to Serve, Monday, Nov 9. 5-6:30 p.m.;
  • Reflection during and after the trip (keeping a journal and taking photographs are helpful);
  • Fundraising for your service trip.  Each group needs to raise $500;
  • Attendance at Welcome Home dinner, to be scheduled;
  • A presentation to the Hamline Community during Honors Day;
  • Refrain from alcoholic beverages or drug consumption while on the trip (even if YOU ARE 21);
  • Student Fee: $175 for Minnesota and $250 for other Catalyst trips.   Fee is due on December 1, 2008. 
  • NEW ORLEANS and Washington:  if you cancel after Feb 2, the cost of the plane ticket will be forwarded to your student account.
