The purpose of Campus Life is to mentor students to become leaders in a diverse global community through utilizing holistic approaches which actively engage and empower students, providing opportunities to grow and develop to their full potential and creating welcoming and inclusive environments.

The Campus Life Center is part of the Division of Student Affairs and contains three offices:
- Office of Residential Life
- Office of Student Leadership and Activities
- Office of Orientation and First Year Programs
The programs, services and events coordinated through the Campus Life Center enrich the student experience at Hamline University through offering authentic mentoring relationships; providing students the ability to gain or enhance their leadership potential; and challenging, yet supporting students in their quest to learn about themselves and the diversity within the world around them.
