For the protection of former students, all transcript requests must be submitted in writing and personally signed. No transcript will be released until all financial obligations to Hamline University have been met. For account information you may contact Student Administrative Services at 651-523-3000, 1-800-888-2182, or via e-mail.

Include the following information in your written request:

  1. Your Hamline ID number (you may also use your social security number).

  2. The name under which you were enrolled at the time of your attendance at Hamline University.

  3. An email address where we can reach you if we should have any questions.

  4. If you attended Hamline University prior to 1986, include your birthdate and information about the program in which you were enrolled (e.g. undergraduate, master's, or continuing education studies).

  5. Your full legal signature.

  6. On the request, you must include the complete mailing address where the transcript is to be sent.

Upon receipt of a written transcript request, our office requires two to three business days to process. All non-current students, and any student with a balance on their account may require additional processing through Student Accounts. Transcripts to be picked up are made available after 9 a.m. Monday through Friday. If your transcript is to be mailed out, please allow additional time for post office handling and delivery.  Hamline University assumes no responsiblity for misdirected or mishandled mail by the United States Post Office. 

*If you attended Hamline prior to 1986 your academic records are stored outside of our current database system and therefore you are unable to make your transcript request online.
