ONLINE REGISTRATION BASICS:
- Find course numbers for the courses you want:
- browse Graduate School of Liberal Studies Class Listings or;
- search the Piperline Class Schedule.
- Using your Hamline ID and Piperline PIN, log in to the secure area in
- Select Student Services/Registration/Register-Drop-Add Courses and choose the appropriate term.
- Enter the CRNs for each of your courses and select Submit.
- Select Student Detail Schedule to verify your registration.
If the class you want is closed/full, please register for another course. Monitor enrollment daily in your primary course choice to see if a spot opens up. If so, change your registration. Questions or concerns? Contact your advisor or the GLS assistant dean.
Special Registrations
For individually arranged coursework (ex: Thesis, Synthesis, Independent Study, etc) special registration forms and signatures are required. Online Registration is not available.
- Independent/Individualized Study - Download registration forms from the Download Forms section of this Online Registration Guide.
- Internship - Find current opportunities and print the registration form from the GLS Internship page.
- Capstone - Registration information is available under the "Program Completion and Thesis Guidelines" heading on the New and Current GLS Students page.
