Welcom to the Online Registration Guide for students in ESL programs...

Reminder: Always check the official academic calendar for important dates & deadlines.

ONLINE REGISTRATION BASICS:

1. Find course numbers for the courses you want:
   
   1. browse ESL Class Listings or;
   2. search the Piperline Class Schedule.
      
      
2. Using your Hamline ID and Piperline PIN, log in to the secure area in
    
   
   
3. Select Student Services/Registration/Register-Drop-Add Courses and choose the appropriate term.
   
   
4. Enter the CRNs for each of your courses and select Submit, or search for courses if needed.
   
   
5. Select Student Detail Schedule to verify your registration. 

Download a Degree & Additional Licensure Registration Form and return to SAS by mail, fax, or in-person if you are unable to use Piperline.

ADDITIONAL REGISTRATION SPECIFICS:

Master of Arts in ESL: All MA in ESL courses are available for easy online registration through Piperline except: Capstone - See MA in ESL Resources and Advising for Capstone project and registration information. Independent/Invidualized Study - A special registration form and signatures are required. Contact the ESL program office for the registration form and more information.

Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in ESL: See the MAT Online Registration Guide

Professional Development in ESL: See the Professional Development for Educators catalog  (NOTE: These courses may have a different open registration period than the 8000-level courses.  Please check here for registration dates.)
