Office of Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid is located in East Hall 113 (formerly Law and Graduate Schools building). Our office hours are Monday though Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, with limited services, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Undergraduate and Post Baccalaureate Student Financial Aid
The Office of Financial Aid will assist you and your family in exploring the financial options available to you. We will assist you with the financial aid application process and work with you to recognize all financial aid and financing options.

Graduate and Licensure Student Financial Aid
The office of Graduate Financial Aid supports students in all graduate, post baccalaureate, and licensure divisions and certificate programs. We will assist you with determining eligibility for federal student aid and can help you determine the best financing options for your needs.

Law Student Financial Aid
The office of Law Financial Aid supports students in all law divisions. We will assist you with determining eligibility for federal student aid and can help you determine the best financing options for your needs.

APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID IN 2010-2011

Please Note: The 2010-2011 FAFSA application is required for consideration for financial aid for the Fall 2010, Winter 2011, and Spring 2011, Summer 2011 semesters.

COMPLETE THE 2010-2011 FAFSA FORM ONLINE AT www.fafsa.ed.gov anytime after January 1, 2010.

To complete the FAFSA online, we strongly encourage you to request a US Department of Education PIN at www.pin.ed.gov prior to submitting your electronic FAFSA. (We also encourage one of your parents to request a PIN at the same time, if a parent's signature is required on your FAFSA).

Remember you will need the following information BEFORE you complete your 2010-2011 FAFSA application:

  • Your Social Security Number (can be found on Social Security card)
  • Your driver's license (if any)
  • Your 2009 W-2 Forms and other records of money earned
  • Your (and your spouse's, if you are married) 2009 Federal Income Tax Return - IRS Form 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, foreign tax return, or tax return for Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, or Palau 
  • Your parents' 2009 Federal Income Tax Return (if you are a dependent student)
  • Your 2009 untaxed income records - Child Support received, and Worker's Compensation (if any)
  • Your current bank statements (if any)
  • Your current business and investment mortgage information, business and farm records, stock, bond, and other investment records (if any)
  • Your alien registration or permanent residence card (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
