Advancement Services consists of the Associations of Hamline Alumni (AHA) and the Annual Giving Operations offices at Hamline University. Advancement Services creates, maintains, and produces alumni reporting tools based on your needs and requests. Popular services include coding of event attendees, board members, volunteers, and activity participants, as well as list creation and data project completion.

Do you need a list of alumni, donors, or friends of the university? Would you like to send an email to former faculty and staff? Do you have a student looking to network with an alum in a particular career field? Advancement Services can help. Helpful hints for submitting list requests:

• All list requests must be submitted in writing. Email Catherine with your request directly for fastest service.
• Be as specific as possible in your request - tell Catherine who you would like included and excluded, what format the list should be in, and what type of information you would like displayed, as well as what the list will be used for.
• If you are sending out an event invitation, consider where that event will be held and how far people may be willing to travel. Limiting a mailing or email to only those people who need to receive it means our constituents don't get overloaded with messages.
• Request your list early and let Catherine know when you need it by. In general, lists can be run in a day or so, but please allow 3 business days just in case.
• If your list is in any way linked to a solicitation, please contact Karla Williams, Director of Annual Giving, before submitting a list request.
