The events function within the Office of Marketing Communications is charged with initiating, planning, and implementing university special events. The largest of these diverse events include Commencement, the annual Honorary Degree dinner, various endowed lecture series, donor events, President's Office events, Founders Day, installations, and inaugurations.
The office also acts as a resource for the entire university community by providing support and resources for event planning. The director of events may be able to help you in planning your event. All events are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and help is available based on the director's current schedule and scope of the event.
