Fy: Finstad played in 27 games and was named All-MIAC Honorable Mention. She ended her first season as a Piper with four goals and 15 assists, as a defender.

In high school, Finstad’s Fond du Lac-Waupun team won the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association championship in 2006. She was named all-state first team defense in that season and her team’s Offensive Most Valuable Player. Finstad is a chemistry major working on a forensic sciences certificate. She is the daughter of Jeff and Dana Finstad.
