In high school, Nichols was an all-conference first team selection as a senior in the Central Minnesota Conference. She was a two-time academic all-conference recipient. Nichols earned her team’s Ms. Practice and Most Improved awards. Nichols was also an all-conference volleyball player. Nichols’ is a mathematics and exercise and sports science major with a minor in education. She is the daughter of Brian and Barb Nichols.
