So: Heinen played in 25 games, starting 20 of them. She put in 81 field-goals, drained 22 three-pointers, and sank 61 free throws for a total of 289 points. Heinen was a threat on both offense and defense after she took down 153 rebounds (49 offensive and 104 defensive), dished out 24 assists, made 17 blocks, and forced 33 steals. For her efforts, she was named All-Conference Honorable Mention.

Fy:  Heinen played in 26 games, starting once. She scored a career-high 15 points on two occasions. She netted 15 points against Augsburg on Feb. 6. Two days layer, she scored 15 against St. Mary’s. Heinen was second on the team in rebounding. She grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds versus Gustavus on Nov. 30.

In high school, Heinen was a Minnesota Coaches Association All-State team member for Class 2A as a senior. She was named All-State honorable mention by the Associated Press and Minnesota Basketball News All-State second team. Heinen was a two-time all-conference performer in the West Central Conference and all-area first team as a senior. She was named a team co-captain and team Most Valuable Player in 2005. Heinen was also an all-conference volleyball player. Heinen is a management major. She is the daughter of Larry and Barb Heinen.
