| Jessica Heinen exhibits solid fundamentals and a great grasp of the game. Heinen will bring a wealth of playing time to the court to go along with a wide range of knowledge…In 2005-06, Heinen played in 26 games, starting once. She scored a career-high 15 points on two occasions. She netted 15 points against Augsburg on Feb. 6. Two days layer, she scored 15 against St. Mary’s. Heinen was second on the team in rebounding. She grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds versus Gustavus on Nov. 30…In high school, Heinen was a Minnesota Coaches Association All-State team member for Class 2A as a senior. She was named All-State honorable mention by the Associated Press and Minnesota Basketball News All-State second team. Heinen was a two-time all-conference performer in the West Central Conference and all-area first team as a senior. She was named a team co-captain and team Most Valuable Player in 2005.
