Megan Haugen is very passionate about the game of basketball. As captain, she will be counted upon to lead the team on and off the court. Haugen brings determination to the court every day…In 2005-06, Haugen played in 25 games, starting 12 times. She added a season-high nine points in Hamline’s 65-57 win versus St. Thomas on Dec. 5 – a win that snapped a 38-game losing streak to the Tommies. She added five assists against both St. Catherine (Dec. 7) and Crown (Dec. 10)…In 2004-05, Haugen played in 24 games. She totaled a career-high 12 points on 4 of 4 shooting from three-point range in Hamline’s 118-47 win over North Central (Minn.) on Nov. 23. Haugen was 3 of 5 from three-point range for nine points against Augsburg on Feb. 7. She dished out eight assists in 19 minutes against Cornell College on Nov. 19…In 2003-04, Haugen played in eight games. She scored a season-high three points versus St. Benedict on Jan. 24… In high school, Haugen was selected her team’s Most Valuable Player during her senior season. Haugen also earned the Most Improved award as a junior. She was named to the Midwest All-Star game…Haugen is a math major. She is the daughter of Michael and Kate Haugen. |
