JR: Burns played in 84 games for the Pipers.  She averaged 2.56 digs per game and served 28 aces. Burns served a season-high of five aces against St. Thomas on Oct. 18.  She also recorded three aces on two occasions, once against Alverno College on Sept. 3 and again on Oct. 13 versus St. Catherine.  Burns posted 215 digs for the season and earned double-digit digs in eight matches.  On Sept. 2 against Buena Vista, burns dug 28 balls for a season-high.  Burns also posted 27 assists last season.

SO: Burns played in 58 games, posting 100 digs.  She added 14 service aces.  Burns had a career-high 12 digs against UW-Stout on Sept. 3 and 10 digs versus Gustavus on Sept. 14.  Burns served four aces against Clarke College on Sept. 6.

FY: Burns played in 51 games.  She averaged 1.7 digs per game.  Burns totaled 10 digs in three different matches, including a three-game non-conference victory over St. Catherine on Sept. 11.

In high school, Burns was her team’s captain and was named defensive Most Valuable Player.  Burns is a business major. She is the daughter of Barney and Jean Burns.
