FY: Burns played in 43 games for the Pipers and averaged 2.37 digs per game.  She had a season-high 11 digs versus Waldorf College on Sept. 30. Burns recorded 10 digs in two different matches, the first versus St. Benedicts on Sept. 27 and the second on Oct. 18 against St. Thomas.  She served 10 aces during the season.

In high school, Burns was named all-conference honorable mention as a senior.  She also earned her team’s Defensive Player of the Year award.  Burns is an exercise and sports science major.  She is the daughter of Robert and Jean Burns.
