Amanda Booth returns as the Pipers’ best blocker. She brings a lot of energy to the court, and coaches believe she will be stronger with a year of experience…In 2005, Booth played in 103 games. She led the team in blocking with 117 (24 solo, 93 assists). She was fourth in the team in kills with 143. She reached double figures in kills in four matches – all Hamline victories. She had a career-high 12 kills against Clarke College on Sept. 6. She had 10 blocks on two occasions – Sept. 10 versus Buena Vista and Oct. 21 versus UW-Stout…In high school, Booth set Champlin Park’s single season blocking record while being named all-conference in the Northwest Suburban Conference. She was also an all-state academic selection as a senior…Booth is a pre-law major. She is the daughter of Mark and Sandy Booth. |
