Ryan Beckman will be a consistent presence in a variety of events including the freestyle, backstroke, and fly. Also, he will be a big factor on the relays come championship season…In 2005-06, Beckman was a member of the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard free relays which both broke Hamline school records.…In 2004-05, Beckman placed 14th at the conference meet in the 200-yard backstroke. He is on the Hamline all-time top ten list in the 100 free and 100 back and he won the hardest worker award at the end of the season…In high school, he was a six-time letter winner, a member of the state championship team, team captain, three-year all-conference swimmer, three-time all-state swimmer, and state runner-up in 2002…  Beckman is also a member of the Hamline track team. Beckman is a mathematics major. He is the son of Jon and Anne Beckman.
