Stephanie Harris joined the Pipers as Sports Information Director in July, 2007.  Harris handles the content management of the athletics website and publications, in-game statistics, and the media relations for the department.

She brings a strong familiarity with Piper athletics and Twin Cities sports to the position.  Prior to joining the athletics department full-time, Harris served as an admission counselor and assistant women's tennis coach since January, 2006.  She worked as Promotions Director for the St. Paul Saints for nearly two years before that.  Additionally, she has worked the MSHSL Girl's State Hockey Tournament as Official Scorer each year that the tournament has been held at the Xcel Energy Center.

Harris moved to Minnesota from Corpus Christi, TX, where she had worked as the Promotions Director for the Coastal Bend Aviators professional baseball team and the Corpus Christi Rayz professional hockey team.  While attending law school at the University of Florida, Harris worked as a Life Skills Assistant in the University Athletic Association, where her responsibilities included writing and editing the publications produced by the student affairs division of athletic department.

Harris, a native of Pine Plains, New York, graduated from NCAA Division II Saint Leo University (Saint Leo, FL) in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management and Business Administration (Management Specialization).  She played tennis, holding the first singles and doubles position all four years at Saint Leo.
