Holly Wiborg is the team’s only senior. She has stepped up and taken her leadership to a whole new level. She is a solid infielder with a great eye at the plate. Coaches see her as the link between the strong history and the future success of this program …Last season, Wiborg started all 40 games for the Pipers. She scored 15 runs off of 24 hits, three of which were doubles… In 2005, Wiborg played in 33 games, starting 28 games. She batted .301 with one double. Wiborg scored 21 times and had 10 RBIs. She had six multi-hit games, including a 4-for-5 effort against Mount Mercy on March 21. She was 3-for-4 with three runs scored against Macalester on April 13. She drove in two runs against both Martin Luther (April 4) and Concordia (April 6)…  Wiborg also plays on the women’s hockey team…  Wiborg is a double major in biology and criminal justice. She is the daughter of Vicki Wiborg.
