Jacob Helling is an all-region player and goal scorer. He is a tireless worker and great all- around player…In 2005, Helling was named All-Region West 3rd team and MIAC All-Conference first team as well as ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District V. He scored 11 goals and had five assists for 27 points on the season.  He was tied for second in the MIAC with seven goals and two assists for 16 points in conference action… In 2004, Helling starting in 17 of the team’s 18 games while scoring one goal with two assists…  In 2003, Helling played in all 18 games for the Pipers and started 14 in his first season with the team...  Helling’s major is undecided.  He is the son of Steven and Mary Helling of Brookings, S.D.
