So: Long played in 25 games for the Pipers. He netted 13 goals and had 10 assists on the season. He recorded a season high of three goals against UW-Stevens Point on November 10.  He then scored two goals on three separate occasions. The first in the season opener on November 3 against St. Scholastica, the second on December 30 versus Johnson and Wales, and the final against Saint Mary’s on January 27.  He chipped in a season high three assists on February 2 versus St. Olaf.

Fy: In 2005-06, Long was named All-MIAC honorable mention after scoring seven goals and 15 assists for 22 points – good for second on the team. He also led the Pipers in power-play goals with four. Long scored two goals and two assists in Hamline’s 7-0 win over Concordia on January 20. He dished out three assists versus UW-Stevens Point on Nov. 12. Long scored two points or more in seven games on the season.

In high school, Long was named all-conference in the Northwest Suburban Conference on two occasions. He was named his team’s Most Valuable Player and captain during his senior season. Long’s major is management. He is the son of Dan and Sheila Long.
