So: Festler played in 25 games for the Pipers. He averaged one point per game after scoring 14 goals and dishing out 11 assists for a total of 25 points. Season highs for Festler included three goals on December 31 against St. Michael’s College and four assists versus Lake Forest College on January 13. He also netted one goal versus Lake Forest for a season high of five points in that contest. Fy: Festler played in 16 games with seven goals and four assists – fourth on the team. He netted two goals, including a power-play goal, in Hamline’s 7-0 win over Concordia on Jan. 20. He tallied a goal and an assist against both Concordia (Jan. 21) and St. Olaf (Feb. 10). In high school, Festler was the St. Cloud Times Player of the Year and an all-section first team selection as a senior. He also earned all-state honorable mention recognition while his team made an appearance in the MSHSL state tournament. Festler was a two-time all-conference first team and two-time all-conference honorable mention selection in the Central Lake Conference. He was also voted all-section first team twice. Festler was a two-year captain and set school records for career points, goals, and assists. Festler is a management major. He is the son of Kevin and Marie Festler. |
