In juniors, Buckley scored 30 points in his last season with Sault Ste. Marie of the NAHL. In high school, he was a two-time all-conference selection in the Northwest Suburban Conference. He was named his team’s Most Valuable Player in 2004. Buckley is a management and economics major. He is the son of Mike and Ann Buckley.
