Fy: Birkholz played in 10 games, scoring three goals and chipping in five assists. He scored two goals versus Lake Forest College on Jan. 13 and scored his final goal of the season versus Bethel University on Feb. 10.

In high school, Birkholz was named all-conference honorable mention in the 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 seasons. He was then named all-conference in his junior and senior seasons. His team was state champion in his 2003-2004 season. Birkholz is a management and political science major. He is the son of Jeff and Lisa Birkholz.
