Fy: Bierman played in six games for the Pipers.

In juniors, Bierman was named to the Minnesota Junior Hockey League All-Star team in 2006. In high school, he was an All-Lake Conference honorable mention selection in 2005. Bierman is an English and communications major. He is the son of Roberta Bierman.
