Matt Wanvig is a technically sound goaltender. He will be a big part of the Pipers’ success this season…In high school, Wanvig was a two-time all-conference selection in the North Suburban Conference. He was also chosen for the Great 8 Senior Festival. He was named to the elite league NIT Tournament team and the Warroad All-Tourney team…Wanvig is a communications major. He is the son of Marc Wanvig and Dorothy Hoffman.
