Dustin Fulton enters the season as one of the Pipers’ captains. He is expected to lead the offense. Coaches believe he is one of the best players in the MIAC…In 2005-06, Fulton was named to the All-MIAC first team and MIAC All-Rookie team after leading the Pipers in scoring with 10 goals and 15 assists for 25 points. Fulton was tied for second in the nation with four short-handed goals on the season. He scored two goals (one power play and one short-handed) with an assist in Hamline’s 6-3 win over Concordia on Jan. 21. He also added three points against St. Olaf on Feb. 11. Fulton scored two points or more in eight games on the season…In high school, Fulton was a three-time all-conference selection in the Tri-Metro Conference. He was his team’s leading scorer as a sophomore. He went on to be named his team’s Most Valuable Player as a junior and earned all-state honorable mention accolades as a senior. Breck won three conference championships during his time there, including a state championship in 2004…Fulton is a business major. He is the son of Perry and Jean Fulton.
