Steve Festler is a quick skater who has a knack for scoring goals. He will be looked upon to provide offense this season…2005-06, Festler played in 16 games with seven goals and four assist – fourth on the team. He netted two goals, including a power-play goal, in Hamline’s 7-0 win over Concordia on Jan. 20. He tallied a goal and an assist against both Concordia (Jan. 21) and St. Olaf (Feb. 10)…In high school, Festler was the St. Cloud Times Player of the Year and all-section first team as a senior. He also earned all-state honorable mention recognition while is team made an appearance in the Minnesota state tournament. Festler was a two-time all-conference first team and two-time all-conference honorable mention selection in the Central Lake Conference. He was also voted all-section first team twice. Festler was a two-year captain and set school records for career points, goals, and assists…Festler in a business major. He is the son of Kevin and Marie Festler.
