Tony Thrasher is an all-around offensive threat. He has excellent post moves and can step out and shoot the three. He has the ability to carry a team when he gets his offensive game going…In 2005-06, Thrasher played in 27 games, starting 19 games. He was named All-MIAC honorable mention and All-MIAC First Year. Thrasher scored in double figures in 16 contests and had at least 20 points in seven games. He netted a career-high 28 points on 11-of-13 shooting versus Augsburg on Feb. 6. He also scored 26 points on 6-of-8 from three-point range against Augsburg on Jan. 7. He grabbed nine rebounds versus both Macalester (Jan. 4) and St. Mary’s (Jan. 11)…In high school, Thrasher averaged 19.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.3 steals per game as a senior. His team recorded a school record 19 victories and at one point was ranked seventh in Division 4 by the Associated Press.  Selected All-State honorable mention by the Associated Press, Thrasher was also named the Trailways South Conference Player of the Year.  Hustisford won their conference in both 2003-04 and 2004-05, totaling a combined record of 25-3.  Thrasher was selected to play in the 2005 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game and was named to the Academic All-State team by that same organization…Thrasher is a mathematics major. He is the son of Tom and Mary Thrasher.
