Joe Smock is a versatile player who can shoot the three or finish with a dunk on the offensive end or guard post and wing players on the defensive end…In 2005-06, Smock played in 26 games, staring 13 times. He netted a season-high 19 points and a career-high 12 rebounds versus Bethel on Feb. 15. He added 17-point performances in both St. Mary’s contests (Jan. 11 and Feb. 8)…In 2004-05, Smock played in seven games, starting twice. He scored a career-high 24 points on 6 of 10 shooting, 6 of 8 behind the three-point line against St. Thomas on Dec. 6. He also scored 17 points versus St. Scholastica on Dec. 18… In high school, Smock was second in the state in scoring averaging more than 25 ppg. He was an all-conference performer in the Rum River Conference as a junior and senior… Smock is majoring in biology.  He is the son of Greg and Rita Smock.
