Ryan Montgomery is a solid jump shooter who is equally effective off the dribble or the pass. Montgomery has a lot of experience and will be counted on to be a leader this season...In 2004-05, Montgomery played in 24 games, starting twice. He scored in double figure twice - both times going over the 20-point mark. He scored a career-high 24 points on 8 of 14 shooting in a 90-89 win over Luther on Dec. 8. He also added 21 points versus St. Thomas on Jan. 29 - a 93-91 win...In 2003-04, Montgomery played in 25 games, starting 16 times.  He scored in double digits four times on the season.  He scored a season-high 14 points including 4 of 7 from three-point range against Gustavus on Jan. 3, 2004. He had 11 points versus St. Scholastica on Nov. 25, 2003 and Augsburg on Jan. 7, 2004...In 2002-03, Montgomery played in 17 games, averaging 2.4 points per game. In his second career game, he provided a spark off the bench, scoring eight points on 3 of 6 shooting against Augsburg on Jan. 8, 2003. Against Carleton three days later, Montgomery tallied a season-high nine points...Montgomery was a two-time all-conference selection in the Three Rivers Conference as well as a two-time team MVP.  He also a two-time Minnesota state champion sprinter...Montgomery's major is undecided.  He is the son of Tom and Stacy Montgomery.
