| David Johnson is a great finisher and good leaper. He can also step out and shoot the three. Coaches believe he will contribute immediately…In high school, Johnson was a West Central all-conference selection three times and an all-area first team selection for two years. He was also named to the Class AA All-State Team by the Minnesota Basketball News. As a senior, Johnson led New London-Spicer in scoring and rebounding, averaging 20.9 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. The Wildcats won the West Central South Conference finishing with an 8-2 league record and 18-8 overall. For his efforts, Johnson was selected to play in the 2005 Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Series. Johnson finished his career at New London-Spicer scoring over 1,300 points…Johnson is an economics major. He is the son of Pete and Jodi Johnson. | ||
