JR: Seymour played in all 10 games. He led the team in receiving with 35 catches totaling 519 yards, averaging 14.8 yards per catch. He caught 3 touchdown passes and rushed for 1 additional. Seymour caught 10 passes for a season high of 138 yards on Nov. 9 versus Augsburg. He led the team in punt returns with 12, totaling 130 yards, including a 43-yard return. Seymour was academic all-conference. SO: Seymour started 7 games at quarterback before moving to wide receiver for the final 3 games. Seymour threw for 857 yards and 2 scores on the season. He also rushed for 130 yards and 3 touchdowns. Seymour threw for a season-high 224 yards and 1 score on 21-of-41 passing in Hamline’s 7-3 win over Gustavus on Sept. 17. He caught 5 passes for 64 yards versus Carleton on Nov. 12 and 4 passes for 53 yards and a touchdown against St. Thomas on Nov. 5. FY: Seymour played in 4 games. He rushed twice for 42 yards and a touchdown against Macalester on Oct. 30. In Seymour’s senior year of high school, his team won the Great River Conference title and placed second in the section, going 10-1. He was all-conference the same year. Seymour is an economics major. He is the son of Diane and Kenny Seymour. |
