SO: Rutschow played in seven games, starting once. Rutschow was 30-for-55 passing on the season, totaling 425 yards with three interceptions. On Nov. 9 against Augsburg, Rutschow rushed for one touchdown, and threw 14-for-24 totaling 209 yards including a season high 60-yard completion.

In high school, Rutschow was an all-conference player in 2003.  Rutschow is a criminal justice major.  He is the son of Barb and Craig Rutschow.
