JR: Klees started all 10 games for the Pipers.  He was the second leading tackler on the team with 63 stops (36 solo, 27 assists).  Klees added 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 7 tackles for a total loss of 31 yards.  He had a season high of 11 tackles twice.  Once against Carleton on Oct. 14, and the second against St. Thomas on Nov. 4.

SO:  Klees was the Pipers’ fourth leading tackler with 57 stops (33 solo, 24 assists).  He added 3 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries.  He posted a career-high 9 tackles against both St. Thomas on Nov. 5 and Carleton on Nov. 12.

FY:  Klees played in all 10 games.  He made 15-of-21 extra point attempts.  Klees made 5 tackles (4 solo, 1 assist).

In high school, Klees was a four-time all-conference athlete in football, baseball and wrestling.  He was also the defensive player of the year for his team in 2002 in football. In wrestling, he placed fifth in the MSHSL state tournament in 2004. Klees is an economics and management major. He is the son of Carolynn and Don Klees.
