JR: Elfmann did not play his junior year.

Elfmann was also a track athlete in high school, earning all-confrence honors in pole vault in 2004. While at Hamline, he has done internships in both the fall of 2006 and the summer of 2007 in Washington, D.C. In 2006, he interned for Senator Norm Coleman. Most recently, he was with the National Corn Growers Association, working with the 2007 Farm Bill and ethanol issues. He is the treasurer for HUSC. Elfmann is a political science major and secondary education minor, with a concentration in history. He is the son of John and Lisa Elfmann.
