JR:  Cushenbery played in 7 games. He made a total of 21 tackles (4 solo, 17 assists). Cushenbery had a season high of 5 tackles (5 assists) against Concordia on Oct. 7. 

SO:  Cushenbery played in 10 games, making 40 tackles (17 solo, 23 assists) – sixth on the team. He had 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks. He made a season-high 8 tackles against St. John’s on Oct. 1.

FY:  Cushenbery played in 10 games with 43 tackles (18 solo, 25 assists) with four tackles for loss. He made a career-high 11 stops (four solo, seven assists) against Concordia on Oct. 9.

In high school, as a senior, Cushenbery was named all-state, all-metro and all-conference in football. He was named most valuable player on his team, as well as being named the lineman of the year in the Suburban East Conference. As a wrestler, he participated in the MSHSL state wrestling tournament in his senior season. Cushenbery is a criminal justice major. He is the son of Jeaniene Cushenbery.
