Andrew Seymour is a tremendous playmaker who made the switch from quarterback to wide receiver during the middle of last season. He is described by coaches as the team’s offensive most valuable player last season. He is a playmaker who has the ability to be one of the elite wide receivers in the conference…In 2005, Seymour started seven games at quarterback before moving to wide receiver for the final three games. Seymour threw for 857 yards and two scores on the season. He also rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns. Seymour threw for a season-high 224 yards and one score on 21-of-41 passing in Hamline’s 7-3 win over Gustavus on Sept. 17. H caught five passes for 64 yards versus Carleton on Nov. 12 and four passes for 53 yards and a touchdown against St. Thomas on Nov. 5…In 2004, Seymour played in four games. He rushed two times for 42 yards and a touchdown against Macalester on Oct. 30…Seymour is a physical education and health major. He is the son of Kenny and Diane Seymour.
