Alvin Mitchell did not play in 2005, but coaches believe he has a lot of ability and can contribute once he understands the offense…In 2004, Mitchell played in four games. He carried the ball 12 times for 122 yards and a touchdown. He rushed for 106 yards, including a 45-yard score, on just six carries against Macalester on Oct. 30. …In 2003, Mitchell played in four games.  He rushed eight times for 53 yards including a 32-yard run against Bethel on Sept. 27…Mitchell is also a member of the Hamline track and field squad. Mitchell is a political science major.  He is the son of Bill and Judy Hudson.
