With the final playoff spot on the line, the Hamline University baseball team came out with loud bats in the opening innings of their first game against Bethel University, claiming the #3 seed with an 11-3 win, followed by a 6-3 Royals victory.

Roiger named national pitcher of the week
The honors continue to pile up for Hamline University LHP Josh Roiger (Sr., West St. Paul, Minn.) after he tallied a save and a complete game shutout against St. Thomas, as the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association named him the NCAA Division III National Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 21-27.
